A Lot of NEW for 2009 Piranha

HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania -

On Tuesday June 30th, the Central Penn Piranha held a press conference at Legends Sports Bar & Grill, located at the Holiday Inn West in Mechanicsburg, PA.  Many NEW items were announced pertaining to the upcoming Piranha football season.

Vipers Impressive in Defeat

AUSTIN, Texas -

It was billed as Austin versus the World, and this game lived up to the hype.  The powerhouse Dallas Diesel needed a touchdown in the final minutes of the game to knock off the Austin Vipers in Austin, Texas.

Look out Northern Conference.  There's a new NAFL team that is making a name for itself. The Columbia Trojans are off to a 2-0 start, and are dominating their opponents like their namesake, the USC Trojans.

Commissioner's Blog - 6/30/09

DENVER, Colorado -

The official NAFL Kickoff Weekend is less than two weeks away.  Some teams have already started playing pre-season games, as well as games that will count towards the NAFL 10 regular season games.  At this time, I wanted to make sure that all teams know the "rules" and abide by them, as well as what the repercussions may be for non-compliance.

Former Cornhusker Enjoys Being a Wildcat

BELLEVUE, Nebraska -

Chuck Tack played college football at the University of Nebraska.  As a freshman, he was a member of their 1997 National Championship team.  Tack went on to play professional football in Canada for the Hamilton Tiger Cats.  After that, he had workouts for the Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Ravens of the NFL.  Now, he's kicking the pigskin around in the NAFL.

Black & Blue Bowl Results

GRESHAM, Oregon -

The recent charity game hosted by the Oregon Blackshirts was a huge success.  The final score of the flag football game was 26-12 (Blackshirts), but that wasn't the main story.
